1. Women of Charmed:
Charmed is based on 3 sisters, who are also witches, fight evil while trying to live a normal live.
This is one of the view shows that have female characters as the lead that are strong, independent, sexy, and can kick some serious ass! Each sister has their own personality that is unique to their characters and is very relate-able to viewers.
Prue is the eldest sister. She feels a sense of responsibility to protect and take care of her younger sisters. She is very independent and career driven.She was viewed as the strongest sister among the three.
Piper was the middle sister in ever sense of the word. She was always the peace-keeper between Prue and Phoebe. She was also the sister who most wanted a normal life and fought the hardest to keep it, trying to avoid the magical part of her heritage as much as she could. She is the most maternal and longed for romance and a family.
Phoebe was the baby of the family. She is very "free-willed" in the earlier seasons, without having any direction in life. Her and Prue clashed a lot because of the differences between them. Phoebe was the most excited to learn about their magical heritage and embraced it whole-heartidly. I think her character developed most throughout the show. We saw her as this young women who just wanted to have fun and enjoy life, to this grown women with all of this wisdom who wanted to settle down and have a family.
Paige is the half sister that was born out of a forbidden love and hidden from the rest of the family. When she came to the family she was very insecure and worried about living in Prue's shadow and felt she had to prove herself to the sisters. Once she accepted her heritage as a Halliwell she was quick to learn everything she could about magic. She became the sister who diverted most of her time and effort into it.
2. The Forbidden Love (romantic 'ships)
Piper and Leo struggle a lot throughout their relationship. She was a witch and he was a whitelighter. Even though they fought for the same side, they were not allowed to be together. Throughout the entire series it seems as though fate tries to keep them apart, but they never give up on each other.
She is a witch. He is a demon.......well half demon/half human. What more is their to say really?
3. The Men of Charmed
Their hot right?! What more is their to say really.
4. The Plot:
Charmed is full of magic, demon fighting, but besides that it is full of dealing with regular, everyday problems. Like being a single woman trying to find the love of her life. Mister right vs. Mister right now. It involves a lot family drama that people have to deal with, especially in a sister dynamic.
5. The Costumes:
The everyday outfits of this show are gorgeous, but the themed episodes involve awesometastic costumes. See here.
6. The Music:
You will be introduced to a lot of good songs/bands via Piper's club P3 that hosts guest bands almost every episode. Some of them include: Goldfrapp, Sterophonics, Third Eye Blind, Vanessa Carlton, Love Spit Love (theme song), and many more.
